Kennedy Bridge Repairs To Begin

The first phase of repair work on the Kennedy Bridge begins tonight.
The right northbound lane of the bridge will be closed until 8:00pm on Friday to allow for structural repairs. The exit ramp to Jeffersonville, Exit 0, will remain open.
Following a break for the Kentucky Derby, the right southbound lane will be closed starting Sunday evening, May 6 through Friday, May 11.
Also, the ramp from eastbound Interstate-64 to northbound I-65 will be closed overnight, tonight through Tuesday. It will be shut down from 8:00 each evening until 5:00 the following morning.
The major repair work will begin in mid-June, with the Kennedy Bridge being reduced to two lanes in each direction to allow for deck repairs.
